I created WoodBoxShop.com in June 2011 because of my interest in beautiful wood jewelry boxes. I especially wanted to have something for women. If you are like me, you start to wonder what to do with everything. A lot of times women start to have a great jewelry collection. They find themselves having a necklace stored here and earrings there. What they need is a great system for finding things all in one place. I was hoping to give women more options for organizing their jewelry because I know at one time it was an issue for me. The last thing you need when you’re getting ready to go somewhere, is hunting down a certain necklace and not remembering where you put it.
I am also going to talk about the history and care of our wood boxes. I would also like to talk about the care of jewelry itself and perhaps find a great product to sell on my site. I would like this blog to be a forum for exchanging great ideas and new products. However, do not post anything political, slanderous, vulgar or offensive to other readers. Those comments won’t be posted. I will try to acknowledge and correct mistakes quickly. I hope everyone can have fun with this site and that it will be a great place to be.
